Welcome to my sax and clarinet jazz channel. If you enjoy my playing I'm happy. If you play the sax or clarinet I specially welcome you.
Over 8,670 subscribers and rising. Thanks to all of you!
If you play jazz on any instrument you are also very welcome.
And if you just like the sound of jazz, you are just as welcome.
I reckon that the sax is the most expressive instrument ever invented. You can make it sound just the way you want it to. I salute the Belgian inventor Aldophe Sax, a genius! Oh, and I like to play the clarinet too...
I taught myself to play sax at age 16 and first picked up the clarinet when I was about 30.

¡Kojonudo, Ian! Saludos desde Madrid.
I lived and worked in New Orleans most of my life. The first time I heard this performed live was by Pete Fountain. Mr. Boyter, thank you for this. It's lovely!
Hey, could you give me some ideas for improvising for Allstate jazz with this song? i’m gonna be in the eighth grade and I wanna try out for Jazz Band.

Great version.
Magnifique morceau. Et toujours votre sensibilité dans votre interprétation. Merci !!!! pour ce moment de détente. Bonne journée à vous
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤ подскажите какой инструмент у вас?
Sorry Ian. I came to you for help and though it was a terrible explanation and not obviously rehearsed and practised beforehand with clear instructions, it gave me a little clarity . The rest I had to painfully dismember myself from your session. But thank you anyway. Appreciate you going to the trouble of doing this. This bloody thing has been making me so frustrated.
I have now got rid of this controller and run the heating system by adjusting the radiators in each room. Not so efficient by at least I properly understand how to control the heating.
Thanks man this is just the right medicine
Good❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very nice playing, thanks.
Hi - thanks a lot for this, really useful. Stupid question but when you set the second temperate to 12 degrees, does that mean the temperature will stay at 12 degrees from 10.30pm to 6.30am?
So in your example, from 6.30am to 10.30 pm the temperate is 21, then from 10.30pm to 6.30am again the temperature is 12? Thanks!
You sound amazing what number reed do you use or do you make them your self?
2 and a half usually
Brilliant !!! I'm still trying to learn the saxophone part. I'll never catch up with you !!!!!!!
I was wondering, do you use the low A key much in your style of music? Are you able to get by with a Bb baritone ?
Excelente
Hi Ian, it's been a while since the last video, I really miss your songs! I hope you'll come back soon! Greetings from Colombia!
Hi Juan, yes I seem to have run out of new material right now, but I'm hoping for inspiration to come and get me making videos again.
Thank you. Relaxt and beautiful 👌
as always Ian ❤. I wish I was your neighbour, I wish I learn clarinet from you. Still begining...for ten years still a beginner. My love❤
WOOW THAT SUB-TONE COOL MAN!!!!
Me gusta Yamaha tenor🎷
Without exaggeration, not only is _Nature Boy_ my favorite tenor sax piece, but your cover is my favorite performance of it on the entire internet. Awesome dynamics and expression. Great subtle embellishments. Your gentle improv section is proof that an improv should be more about supporting the melody and mood than showing off how fast one can run jazz scales. A beautifully balanced arrangement. Thank you for playing this for us.
Thanks David, glad you enjoyed it!
Sax tenor em toda a sua essência. Simplicidade e elegância.
